IPEN - Global Network for Program Development & Evaluation

IPEN is a professional and cohesive network of program management specialists, clinical epidemiologists, epidemiologists, health social scientists, biostatisticians, health economists, physicians, anthropologists, behavioural scientists, public health specialists, nutrition and health specialists and health management specialists. These experts are affiliated to facilitate development and implementation of people friendly, effective public health programs that are in harmony with their socio-cultural beliefs. IPEN creates an environment where service providers get motivated and communities consider public health services beneficial and willingly participate. Currently, 135 medical schools, public health institutes and NGOs are partnering in conducting research and evaluation of public health programs in India.

IPEN undertakes conceptualization of new initiatives; developing proposals & operational manuals; coordinating activities at the partner institutions, monitoring and quality assurance visits during data collection; data analysis and report writing; dissemination of findings and liaison with funding agencies & ministry of health.
